I am Antonio Sobevski the founder of Sidro Watches. My passion for watches stems back to my teenage years and has grown since. In 2017, I purchased my first microbrand watch and that really fueled my interest in starting my own brand one day. Over the years I spent countless hours learning about watch manufacturing and design. After learning the ins and outs, I finally decided to start my own brand in 2023.

Why the name Sidro? I wanted the brand name to be meaningful and representitave of me. The name stems from my Macedonian heritage, simply put "Sidro" means anchor in Macedonian. While an anchor is a physical object, it also has gained a lot of symbolism behind it. Hence the logo design, I wanted to make a non traditional anchor and have the S there as a reminder of my heritage.
